Flat Roofing
TPO single-ply membrane in 60-mil or 80-mil thickness, hot-air welded seams, fully adhered or mechanically attached over polyiso insulation board. We install per NRCA and manufacturer specifications. Ponding water is the number one cause of flat roof failure. We use tapered ISO insulation to create minimum 1/4" per foot slope to drains. FM 4473 rated systems available for hail-prone Everly areas.
Commercial Roofing
Modified bitumen (mod-bit) is still the best choice for high-traffic commercial roofs in Everly. We torch-apply SBS-modified base and cap sheets over properly primed concrete or approved decking. Two-ply mod-bit systems carry 20-year NDL (No Dollar Limit) warranties through GAF, Firestone, or Johns Manville. NRCA member. We follow the manual.
Gutter Installation
Improperly sized gutters cause fascia board rot and foundation erosion. We calculate gutter capacity using the rainfall intensity formula: roof square footage x pitch factor x rainfall rate (inches/hr for Everly). Standard 5" K-style handles 5,520 sq ft of effective roof area. Bigger roofs or steeper pitches need 6" gutters with 3x4" downspouts. We hang with hidden hangers screwed into rafter tails every 24".
Roof Inspection
Annual roof inspections catch small problems before they become expensive ones. A cracked pipe boot is a $150 fix. Ignoring it means $3,000 in ceiling and wall water damage. We recommend an inspection every 2-3 years for roofs under 10 years old, and annually after that.
Emergency Roof Repair
Fallen tree limb damage requires structural assessment before repair. We check rafter integrity, decking condition, and whether the ceiling joists below were impacted. If structural members are cracked or displaced, you need a framing carpenter before we re-roof. We coordinate with trusted Everly contractors for structural work. Insurance carriers require separate line items for structural vs. roofing repairs. We document both.
Skylight Installation
VELUX FS fixed skylights and VS vented skylights installed with EDL flashing kits for profile roofing. The flashing integrates with your shingle courses per IRC R903.2 weather protection requirements. We cut the opening, frame the curb with doubled 2x lumber, install the skylight with factory sealant, and weave the flashing into the existing shingle field. Leak-proof when done right. And we do it right in Everly.
